FLUXing & traveling
March 29, 2004
We journeyed to Bellingham on Saturday for the 2nd Bellingham, Washington ATC trading session. It was lots of fun... there was a fair bit on shock & awe at the news that all this fun was initiated by a Canadian (Don Mabie, Calgary) and a Swiss (Vanci Stirnemann). Bellingham is picturesque... and so is the historic Chuckanut highway, heading south to Anacortes. Scrambling down the cliff to the water's edge was a highlight.
Other news:
-got this from Macedonia, last week:
This (add&pass) Fluxus Buck originated in West Virginia. Along the way, I added the Isabel Allende quote. Now it's back in my hands. I think I might pass it on to Ed Varney (Mr. Fluxus Buck himself) in Courtney, BC.
The quote reads:
My religion, should anyone be interested, can be reduced to a simple question: What is the most generous thing one can do in this case?
